We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our outstanding café team and become part of our very busy, well-established café, your role will be to work alongside our kitchen team ensure the kitchen operates smoothly by creating a clean and tidy environment

Hours: 20 hours per week

Contract: Part Time


Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • You will clean the crockery, plates and equipment for our chef
  • Washing up, cleaning and clearing all kitchen areas
  • You will unload and put away deliveries
  • You will empty bins, sweep and mop all kitchen floors
  • You will ensure all equipment is clean and put away correctly

You will support the kitchen staff when needed.


Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Good verbal and written English communication skills are essential as well as eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Good personal appearance and hygiene.
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene.
  • Previous experience working in the kitchen and café floor.
