Overview

Chock Shop is looking for friendly and enthusiastic Festive Market Assistants to join us at the Bracknell Winter Village, in Bracknell Town Centre, selling our delicious chocolate brownies throughout the Christmas season.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your customer service skills while spreading holiday cheer!

Contract: Fixed-term from 19th November to 23rd December 2026

Working Pattern: Various flexible hours, both weekdays and weekends.

Need to be able to work a variety of full day (Mon - Fri: 10am - 6pm. Sat: 10am - 7pm. Sun: 11am - 5pm) and part day shifts.

Competitive hourly wage and weekly brownie allowance included!

Duties

  • Serving customers and providing excellent customer service
  • Selling and promoting our brownie range
  • Maintaining stall presentation and stock levels in a small space
  • Handling cash & card payments
  • Opening and closing the stall independently

Requirements

  • Friendly, confident and reliable
  • Great customer service skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Self employed / happy to invoice
  • Punctual
  • Comfortable handling cash and card payments
  • Must be aged 18+ due to lone working requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail environment is advantageous, but not required
  • Must be able to make your own way to Bracknell Town Centre, as no transport provided
