This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality manager who understands the pace, energy and standards required in a busy, high-volume Asian restaurant environment.

We aren't simply looking for someone to run shifts.

We want someone who can take ownership of the restaurant, lead the team, improve standards, drive sales and help us grow the business.

The ideal candidate

We would particularly love to hear from candidates with:

  • Proven restaurant management experience
  • Experience within a busy Thai, Asian or Southeast Asian restaurant
  • Experience managing high-volume services
  • Excellent leadership and people-management skills

  • Confidence managing front and back-of-house operations
  • Experience with rotas, staffing and labour costs
  • Stock and cost-control experience
  • Strong food hygiene and health & safety knowledge
  • Excellent customer-service standards
  • A commercial mindset and ability to drive sales
  • The ability to remain calm and organised during extremely busy services

Thai language skills would be an advantage where useful for communication within the restaurant, but are not essential.

The role

You will take responsibility for:

  • Leading and motivating the restaurant team
  • Managing busy services from start to finish
  • Recruitment, training and development
  • Staff rotas and labour control
  • Maintaining excellent food and service standards
  • Stock control and reducing wastage
  • Monitoring costs and profitability
  • Food hygiene and health & safety compliance
  • Customer experience and complaint resolution
  • Working closely with the kitchen team
  • Increasing sales and repeat business
  • Helping develop promotions and new ideas
  • Maintaining the atmosphere and identity of Tuk Tuk Thai

A genuine opportunity to make your mark

This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than just their next management job.

We want the successful person to become a key part of the business, bring their own ideas and experience and help us build Waterfront Tuk Tuk Thai into an even stronger restaurant.

There is real scope for the right person to grow with the business and take on greater responsibility in the future.

Please send your CV together with a short introduction explaining:
