Specialist Massage & Lymphatic Therapist (Self-Employed)

  • South London: Clapham, Dulwich and Beckenham

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to partner with experienced Self-Employed Specialist Massage & Lymphatic Therapists across our London clinic network.

Flexible Opportunities Available

Alongside permanent self-employed opportunities within our clinic locations, we are also recruiting therapists to join Danugur Flex – our flexible self-employed team providing holiday cover, emergency cover, sickness cover and additional support during busy periods across our London clinics.

This is ideal for therapists seeking flexible working while still benefiting from an established client base.

About the Role

You will deliver exceptional consultation-led treatments, tailoring every treatment plan to each client's individual goals while providing outstanding customer care and clinical excellence.

You'll work alongside experienced beauty therapists, advanced aesthetic practitioners and medical professionals within a modern multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional consultation-led treatments.
  • Tailor treatments to individual client needs.
  • Build long-term client relationships through outstanding customer care.
  • Maintain accurate consultation and treatment records.
  • Recommend appropriate aftercare and homecare advice.
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, professionalism and clinical practice.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Essential Requirements

  • Self-employed status.
  • Minimum VTCT/NVQ Level 3 Massage Therapy (or equivalent).
  • Minimum two years' professional experience.
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent consultation and communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service.
  • Regular evening and weekend availability.
  • Confident delivering a minimum of four massage modalities.

Specialist Skills : We are particularly interested in therapists experienced in one or more of the following:

  • Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage
  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
  • Post-Operative Lymphatic Drainage
  • Wood Therapy
  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Sports Massage
  • Remedial Massage
  • Ayurvedic Massage
  • Pregnancy Massage (desirable)

Experience with any of the following would also be advantageous:

  • Cryolipolysis
  • EMS Body Sculpting
  • Pressotherapy
  • Body Contouring Treatments
  • Scar Therapy
  • Oncology Massage

Compliance

Applicants must:

  • Hold Professional Indemnity Insurance.
  • Hold, or be willing to obtain, any Local Authority Special Treatments Practitioner Registration or Permit required for their clinic location.
  • Hold, or be willing to obtain, a DBS certificate where required.
  • Be able to work some weekends and possible evenings
  • Be committed to continuing professional development and maintaining all relevant professional registrations.
