Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes that delight our guests and set the tone for their day. Your expertise in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations will ensure a seamless breakfast service that emphasizes quality, freshness, and presentation. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a diverse range of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, pastries, and other specialty dishes with precision and flair
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients and assist with inventory management to minimize waste
  • Follow recipes accurately while adding creative touches to elevate dish presentation
  • Assist in training junior kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety procedures

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food hygiene standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy breakfast hours
  • Excellent attention to detail in meal presentation and quality control
  • Prior experience in meal preparation, especially breakfast dishes, is highly desirable
  • Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
  • Culinary training or certification is a plus but not mandatory
