Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and professional finish. This role requires a strong understanding of various plastering techniques and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Plasterer will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing materials, and applying plaster with precision.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and priming as necessary.
- Mix plaster according to specifications to achieve the desired consistency.
- Apply plaster to walls and ceilings using hand tools and power tools, ensuring an even finish.
- Smooth out imperfections and create textures as required by project specifications.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and bricklayers, to ensure seamless integration of plasterwork with other construction elements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Perform repairs on existing plasterwork as needed, ensuring high-quality results.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and scrapers.
- Experience with power tools relevant to plastering tasks.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques is advantageous for effective surface preparation.
- Familiarity with bricklaying principles can enhance overall project quality.

Pay
Our plasterers are paid £4.50 per sq-m with 4 Walls Drylining Ltd providing the materials.
