Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and building practices, demonstrating proficiency in various tasks such as fabrication, assembly, and finishing work. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the building process.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble building components according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Conduct masonry work, including bricklaying, as needed.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Engage in heavy lifting and manual handling of materials during construction activities.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential.
  • Strong skills in fabrication, assembly, masonry, and plastering are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely is required.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • A valid health and safety certification would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
