Stonemason

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and Trainee Stonemasons to join our team. As a Stonemason, you will be responsible for constructing worktops using various types of stone and specialized tools. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail will be crucial in creating durable and visually appealing stonework. For the Trainee role full training will be given.

Duties:
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and polish stones
- Construct worktops and other structures using masonry techniques
- Repair existing stonework by replacing or reinforcing stones
- Work on projects that may involve roofing, bricklaying, or welding
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure project completion

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Stonemason or similar role

-Willingness to learn all following for Trainee role

- Understanding of safe working practices
- Proficiency in working with power tools and hand tools
- Knowledge of masonry techniques and best practices
- knowledge and familiarity with stone processing machinary an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year

• stone working: 1 year (required)
• machine operating: 1 year (preferred)
