Overview:
We are seeking a skilled brick laying GANG to join our team, based in Blackburn. You will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks or other materials to construct or repair walls, floors, chimneys, and other structures
- Measure and cut materials to the required size using hand or power tools
- Mix mortar or other adhesives to the appropriate consistency
- Align bricks or stones and ensure they are level and plumb
- Apply finishing techniques such as smoothing or coloring mortar joints
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:
- Proven experience required
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Proficient in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels
- Familiarity with power tools such as saws and drills
- Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Skills:
- Welding skills for reinforcing structures if necessary
- Proficiency in working with various hand tools
- Knowledge of roofing techniques for bricklaying on roofs
- Understanding of masonry principles and techniques
- Carpentry skills for framing structures if required
- Experience with power tools for cutting and shaping materials
