Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Team Leader to oversee residential projects across Glasgow & surrounding areas. Lead a team delivering high-quality hard and soft landscaping: paving, decking, brickwork, planting, garden rooms & more.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and motivate a team of landscapers on-site, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Support the development of the team by providing mentoring.
  • Liaise with clients and management to ensure customer satisfaction throughout projects.
  • Maintain strong communication and organisation across all aspects of the project.

Hard Landscaping

  • Setting out and laying a variety of paving and block paving.
  • Experienced in woodwork including fencing, sleepers, and decking.
  • Operate plant machinery such as diggers and dumpers safely and competently.
  • Skilled in brickwork, blockwork, and construction of garden structures and outdoor buildings.

Soft Landscaping

  • Ground preparation for turfing, seeding, and planting.
  • Laying turf, sowing seed, and planting of trees, shrubs, and plants.
  • Provide ongoing aftercare and maintenance advice to clients.

Professionalism & Compliance

  • Work in accordance with company Health & Safety policies and RAMS.
  • Promote company values and maintain a professional image at all times.
  • Ensure safe and efficient use of all tools, equipment, and machinery.

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in hard landscaping.
  • Proven experience leading teams on landscaping projects.
  • Strong skills in bricklaying, woodwork, and groundworks.
  • Good plant knowledge and ability to identify planting schemes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a leadership team.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CSCS, CPCS or NPORS certification.
  • Relevant SVQ or construction/plant operations qualifications.

Package:

  • Salary £29,000 - £32,000 per annum.
