Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Bricklayer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring structures made of brick, stone, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your craftsmanship and technical skills. Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
  • Mix mortar and prepare building materials using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise application
  • Lay bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other masonry units with accuracy and consistency
  • Use carpentry skills to prepare formwork or support structures as needed for masonry projects
  • Perform roofing tasks when required, including installing or repairing roof structures using appropriate tools
  • Operate welding equipment safely for structural repairs or reinforcement purposes
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris regularly
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety standards

Experience

  • Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or related construction fields
  • Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, and hammers
  • Familiarity with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders used in masonry work
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques relevant to masonry projects
  • Experience with roofing installation or repairs is a plus
  • Ability to operate welding equipment safely when required for structural reinforcement
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings accurately
