Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills in various trades, including carpentry, masonry, and basic plumbing. This role requires a hands-on approach to construction tasks across multiple projects. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency with hand tools and power tools, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks such as framing/stud work, installing doors and windows.
- Advantageous if able execute masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork.
- Carry out plumbing duties such as installing pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems.
- Paint surfaces to enhance aesthetics and protect materials from damage.
- Repair roofs and perform maintenance tasks to ensure structural integrity.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in multiple trades including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, roofing, welding, and fabrication is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with using both hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
