Bricklaying jobs in Farsley

We have an excellent opportunity for a Bricklayer to work within our established Company. We require a motivated, hardworking, and efficient individual to join our team. We need someone who can provide high-quality workmanship and who has excellent service in order to help us meet our growth goals while working alongside other joiners.

You must be able to do the following task:

- Lay and bind bricks, blocks, or stones to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures

- Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine specifications and materials needed

- Measure and cut materials to the required size using power tools or hand tools

- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto the construction site using trowels or other tools

- Align bricks or stones and ensure they are level and plumb

- Apply finishing touches such as pointing, cleaning, or sealing bricks

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role

- Proficient in masonry techniques and the use of power tools and hand tools

- Ability to read blueprints or drawings and interpret construction plans

- Knowledge of different types of bricks, blocks, stones, and their uses

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions

- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
