Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for skilled and reliable Bricklayers to join our growing team. The successful candidates will carry out a variety of bricklaying and masonry tasks on residential and commercial construction projects. You will be expected to work to a high standard, follow health and safety procedures, and deliver quality workmanship on every project.

Initially required for our sites at Elsenham for Bloors Homes and Stowmarket for Hopkins Homes.

IMMEDIATE START

Key Responsibilities:

* Lay bricks, blocks, and other building materials according to plans and specifications.

* Construct and repair walls, foundations, chimneys, and other masonry structures.

* Measure and cut materials accurately.

* Mix and apply mortar and other bonding materials.

* Read and interpret construction drawings and site plans.

* Ensure all work meets building regulations and quality standards.

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.

* Work effectively with site managers, contractors, and other trades.

* Follow all health and safety procedures on site.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Bricklayer.

* AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY

* CSCS Card (required).

* Good understanding of construction methods and building regulations.

* Ability to read technical drawings.

* Strong attention to detail and excellent workmanship.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.

* Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential, must be able to get to site).
