Mason / Stone Mason / Brick Mason

Location: Tavistock (Devon and Cornwall)

Salary: Negotiable (PAYE or Self Employed) Pay range is based on contract and subject to experience

We are a family-run business established in 1992, known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike.

We believe in working with our clients to build a project from original ideas into designer substance, with sites across the whole of Devon and Cornwall. We are an expanding Company with exciting opportunities for development.

The Role

We are looking for a Mason. Experienced working with stone and brick. We offer an immediate start following your successful interview, subject to references.

You will need to be able to demonstrate that you can work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards, contributing to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting buildings and products. This role is challenging, and we offer on-site training where necessary.

Contract

This is a permanent, full time position 0800 – 1700 Monday to Friday.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary that is negotiable, depending on your experience and qualifications.

We will consider applicants who are Self-Employed or looking for a fixed term contract.

Requirements for this role

Experience and relevant qualifications (including Masonry skills, Multi-trade skills)

Full driving license and your own transport.

Willingness to travel across Devon.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00-£20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Tavistock, Devon: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Masonry: 1 year (required)
  • Bricklaying: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (required)
