City Brickwork is looking for experienced Brickwork Supervisors (Black Hats) to join our growing team on projects across Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire.

We are seeking reliable, motivated and experienced supervisors who can take control of brickwork packages on busy construction sites, manage labour effectively and maintain the highest standards of quality, productivity and health & safety.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced supervisors looking for consistent work with an established & growing brickwork contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of brickwork operations on site.
• Manage and coordinate bricklaying gangs and labour.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality control & housekeeping.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries and labour requirements.
• Liaise with City Brickwork (UK) Ltd project managers, site managers and other trades.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure health & safety procedures are followed.
• Monitor productivity and report on site progress.
• Identify and resolve site issues to avoid delays.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Brickwork Supervisor / Black Hat on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of brickwork and blockwork construction.
• Experience managing multiple bricklaying gangs.
• Valid CSCS card and SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• Good understanding of site health & safety requirements.
• Ability to read drawings and work to construction programmes.
• Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.
• Reliable, proactive and capable of working independently.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
