Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. Must have own tools and a full driving licence. Also to do some boarding out. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. As a Plasterer, you will work closely with other tradespeople, including carpenters and bricklayers, to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, smoothing, and applying bonding agents as necessary.
  • Mix plaster according to specifications and apply it using appropriate techniques.
  • Ensure that all plasterwork is finished to a high standard, free from imperfections.
  • Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters and bricklayers to ensure seamless integration of work.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plastering tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Repair any damaged plasterwork as required, ensuring longevity and durability of finishes.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering tasks.
  • Experience in masonry work is advantageous, including knowledge of bricklaying techniques.
  • Familiarity with roofing processes can be beneficial for certain projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on-site.
