Full job description

Experience Bricklayers Black-Head background minimum 5 years. SSSTS - SMSTS preference.

A Bricklayer Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the bricklaying team, ensuring projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and safely. This includes coordinating tasks, monitoring progress, and maintaining quality control. You are the link between the bricklaying team and project management.

Team and Project Management:

  • Supervise and direct bricklaying crews and subcontractors.
  • Assign tasks and organise schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor performance, provide feedback, and resolve conflicts.

Quality and Safety:

  • Ensure all work meets design specifications and building standards.
  • Inspect ongoing and completed work for quality and compliance.
  • Enforce safety rules and make sure proper equipment is used.

Technical and Administrative:

  • Read and understand drawings and technical plans.
  • Manage materials and deliveries (bricks, mortar, etc.).
  • Keep daily records and complete site reports.
  • Solve on-site problems to keep workflow smooth.

Training and Coordination:

  • Train new workers on proper tools and methods.
  • Coordinate with other trades and project managers to avoid clashes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £255.00-£275.00 per day

  • Plastering: 1 year (preferred)
