Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Base Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and experience in various building tasks. As a Builder, you will be responsible for constructing base work for sunrooms and conservatories whilst ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards & building regulation requirements.

Duties

  • Construct and assemble bases for new extensions using power tools and hand tools.
  • Work includes bricklaying, drainage, general building work, and blockwork.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project timelines are met efficiently.
  • High standards of workmanship are essential, with all work expected to meet current building regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment is paramount.

Skills

  • Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to construction tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of building techniques and materials.
  • Experience in masonry work with an understanding of structural integrity & ground conditions.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work alone or with other tradespeople to complete projects
  • Strong time management skills
