Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various structures and components. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Duties

  • Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, doors, windows, and furniture.
  • Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all components fit together seamlessly.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete projects.
  • Carry out masonry work as required, including bricklaying and blockwork.
  • Execute painting tasks to finish surfaces to a high standard.
  • Lift heavy materials and equipment regularly as part of the job duties.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion within deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter is essential.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to joinery work.
  • Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials is advantageous.
  • Experience in masonry work is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid qualifications or certifications related to carpentry or joinery are preferred but not mandatory.
