We are seeking an experienced and reliable Hard Landscaper / Landscape Builder to join an established landscaping and construction team working on a variety of high-quality residential and commercial projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in hard landscaping, groundwork and general construction, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team to deliver work to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Construction of garden walls, retaining walls, steps and other masonry features.
• Installation of paving, patios, pathways, driveways and other hard landscaping surfaces.
• Excavation, ground preparation, drainage and foundation works.
• Setting out works accurately from drawings, specifications and site instructions.
• Mixing and laying concrete, mortar and other construction materials.
• Operating relevant tools, equipment and plant safely and competently.
• Ensuring all work is completed to the required specification and quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Working effectively with site supervisors, managers and other team members.

Requirements

Essential:

• Proven experience in hard landscaping, groundwork, bricklaying or a similar construction role.
• Strong practical knowledge of foundations, levels, drainage and construction techniques.
• Experience in laying paving and constructing walls to a high standard.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and follow site specifications.
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A professional, reliable attitude and willingness to follow site instructions and established working procedures.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

• Experience operating mini excavators, dumpers and other construction plant.
• Experience working on high-end domestic landscaping projects.
• Additional experience in fencing, decking or other landscaping installations.
