Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Roughcaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in masonry, bricklaying, and carpentry, with proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
Responsibilities:
- Apply roughcast or finish coat of plaster to exterior walls of structures
- Create decorative textures in finish coat
- Mix mortar and plaster to desired consistency
- Operate power tools such as mixers and grinders
- Use hand tools for precision work
- Ensure surfaces are prepared and clean before application
- Repair damaged surfaces prior to applying roughcast
Requirements:
- Experience in masonry, bricklaying, or carpentry
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
- Ability to work at heights and on rooftops
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Physical strength and stamina for lifting and carrying materials

Pay: £15.00-£17.50 per hour
