Overview
We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in masonry and bricklaying, with the ability to work on various construction projects, including residential and commercial buildings. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of construction techniques and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Construct and repair structures made of brick, block, and stone.
  • Lay bricks according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and level.
  • Measure and cut materials to fit specific dimensions.
  • Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, including carpenters and roofers, to complete projects efficiently.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Follow safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of yourself and others on site.
  • Assist in welding tasks when required for structural integrity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in masonry or bricklaying is essential.
  • Familiarity with carpentry skills is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Knowledge of roofing techniques is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings.
