Full job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a variety of landscaping tasks including brickwork, paving, turfing, fencing, woodwork, drainage, and more. The role requires someone who is not only proficient in executing these tasks but also possesses a keen eye for detail, creativity in design, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.


  • Perform a wide range of landscaping tasks including but not limited to:
  • Brickwork: Constructing walls, pathways, and other structures using various bricklaying techniques.
  • Paving: Installing various types of paving materials such as concrete, stone, and interlocking pavers to create patios, driveways, and walkways.
  • Turfing: Laying and maintaining turf to create lush and healthy lawns.
  • Fencing: Building and repairing fences.
  • Woodwork: Crafting and installing wooden features such as decks and pergolas.
  • Drainage: Implementing effective drainage solutions to prevent waterlogging and erosion.
  • Other landscaping tasks as required
  • Interpret landscaping plans and designs to ensure accurate implementation of projects.
  • Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality, craftsmanship, and within specified timelines.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to achieve project objectives and deliver exceptional results.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.


  • Proven experience in landscaping with a focus on brickwork, paving, turfing, fencing, sleeper work and drainage.
  • Proficiency in interpreting landscaping plans and designs.
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping materials, techniques, and best practices.
  • Ability to operate a variety of landscaping equipment and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think critically on-site.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to landscaping.
