The Opportunity: Are you looking to transition into a professional management role but lack the formal qualifications to get there? We are currently accepting applications for our 2026/2027 Business Leadership Placement.

This program is designed specifically for career-changers and mature individuals who want to develop executive-level skills in Business Operations, Marketing, and Finance. You will enter a structured development track that begins with a Foundation Training Year, designed to bridge the gap for those who have been out of formal education or come from non-traditional backgrounds.

Program Highlights:

  • Flexible Working/Study Pattern: Scheduled attendance is condensed into 2 days per week, allowing you to balance this placement with existing family or work commitments.
  • Comprehensive Financial Package: Participants may be eligible for government-backed maintenance support and grants to cover living costs, often up to £14,000 per year (tax-free).
  • Professional Certification: Successful completion leads to a BSc (Hons) Business Management degree.
  • Skills Development: Focused training in Organisational Behavior, Enterprise Finance, and Strategic Marketing.

Selection Criteria:

  • Educational History: Applicants must not already hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Employment Gaps: You must not have any employment gaps exceeding 1 year in total (e.g., if you were out of work for 6 months in 2023 and 5 months in 2024, you are still eligible, but gaps must not exceed 12 months combined).
