Do you want to help and be a part of making a real difference to the communities of Essex?
As a PCSO you’ll work closely with communities to promote community safety and confidence. You will work alongside police officers, special constables and partner agencies and within the different roles, actively seek information and intelligence around criminal activity and/or vulnerability in the communities you serve.
Joining Essex Police as a PCSO, you'll receive a starting salary of £26,106 with annual increments up to a maximum of £31,293. Full time PCSO contracts include a 37 hour working week, which will comprise of a 6 on 3 off shift pattern of early and late shifts covering the period 8.00 am to 10.00 pm, 7 days per week, for which a 12.5% shift allowance and weekend working enhancements are payable.
