We place a strong emphasis on the continuity of care, and as such, we encourage our carers to commit to living-in arrangements with our clients for extended periods ranging from 1 to 3 months. We believe that when care is delivered at the highest standards, by the right carer, it becomes life-enhancing.

*We are currently hiring for a specific position near Penzance supporting a woman with Multiple System Atrophy (closely related to Parkinson's disease). She is fully bed bound (except for personal care) so requires someone with strong bed-bound and moving & handling experience. There is a live-out carer to share the rota with, so you will have a couple of days off each week, hence the benefit living local to the area.*

Who you are

• A great communicator with experience and training in bed bound care
• Highly emotionally intelligent with organisational skills
• Strong experience in live-in care or other healthcare settings.
• Proven expertise in working with elderly clients.
• Ability to maintain accurate daily logs, medication administration records, and other critical observations.
• Have your own vehicle
• Looking for a carer to work long periods (2-3 months)

• This position pays a total weekly package of £980 per week (£945 base + £35 food allowance).

What we need from you

Due to high demand, we require all our carers to complete our screening process including:

• Required 1 year minimum experience in any healthcare setting
• Must hold a clean manual UK driving licence
• Must hold a UK Passport of have the right to work in the UK
• Ability to commit to live-in placements for 1-3 month periods
• A clean, enhanced DBS and references. If you do not have a DBS we can run one for you free of charge

This role is initially offered on a casual contract basis to support current service needs.
