The BBC Flexi Job Apprentice Agency (FJAA) is offering an exciting opportunity to join Second Home Studios in Birmingham as a Post-Production Technical Operator Apprentice working across a variety of projects including post production for Silent Witness.
Through the BBC’s Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agency, you will be hired by the BBC and be placed with Second Home Studios for the duration of your apprenticeship. The BBC will work with Second Home Studios and the National Film and Television School to oversee your successful completion on the apprenticeship.
WHY JOIN SECOND HOME STUDIOS?
Second Home Studios is an award winning production house based in Birmingham’s creative heart, specialising in high craft stop motion and multi disciplinary animation. The studio works at the intersection of traditional craft and cutting edge digital production, creating distinctive visual work for leading broadcasters.
The team prides itself on a collaborative, partner led environment where specialists work closely together to deliver bespoke storytelling solutions. With expertise across 2D, stop motion, CGI and live action, Second Home Studios offers a fast paced and supportive setting where attention to detail and creative problem solving are key.
WHY BECOME A POST PRODUCTION TECHNICAL OPERATOR APPRENTICE?
