Full job description

We have an opportunity for a talented and motivated Graphic Designer to join our team in Greenock. We are looking for someone with a detailed design eye, working on a variety of digital and print projects such as social media web content and digital presentations. Our ideal candidate must be a team player who is passionate about graphic design and will support our marketing team in implementing our marketing and internal communications strategies. If you have the desired skills or an interest in campaign ideas, photography, or videography there is an opportunity for you to contribute to those areas with us.

What you will be doing:

· Create visually appealing designs for marketing materials and internal communications, with the ability to work at speed

· Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging campaigns

· Explore different media including photography, graphics, animation and film, to improve the company’s visual language

· Manage conflicting deadlines and working with internal stakeholders to prioritise and plan jobs

· Own the entire design process from brief through to delivery and effectively manage each step along the way - providing creative concepts, developing designs, and artwork for implementation

· Have a flexible and supportive approach to deliver planned jobs as well as smaller, short-notice ad-hoc jobs

What do you need to bring with you:

· 2+ years experience in a graphic design role

· A strong understanding of typography, layout and design which you will be able to deploy quickly and accurately

· Experience of the Adobe Creative suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

· Keen to learn new skills and stay up to date with design and marketing trends

· Photography/video skills would be advantage

· A pro-active problem-solver

· Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy

· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task

· Good interpersonal and communication skills.

· Willingness to learn new systems / processes / procedures

· Team player with a hands-on approach and can-do attitude

· A minimum of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
