Overview
We are seeking a Sales Administration Assistant to join our small team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative and sales support skills within a professional environment. The successful candidate will be expected to play a role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales support processes, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the team with various administrative tasks. Strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and proficiency with computer software are essential for this role.

Duties

  • Assist in managing sales administration tasks, including processing orders and updating customer records.
  • Maintain and update CRM software to ensure accurate and current client information.
  • Prepare and send samples, brochures & marketing literature to customers.
  • Support the sales infrastructure and Customer needs, follow-ups, and correspondence via Microsoft Outlook
  • Liaise with clients and internal departments to coordinate sales activities and resolve queries
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and and relevant customer standards
  • Organise and file digital and physical documents efficiently for easy retrieval
  • Provide polite and efficient customer service by responding promptly to client enquiries
  • Assist in the preparation of sales documents proposals and quotations as needed

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with CRM software such as Sage or similar platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience in sales administration or administrative roles is preferable.
  • Good IT literacy with the ability to adapt to new software tools quickly
  • Customer service orientation with a professional approach to client interactions
  • Computer literacy combined with organisational skills to streamline administrative processes

This role is ideal for candidates who are well organised, possess good communication abilities, and have a keen interest in supporting sales operations within a professional setting. The position offers valuable experience in sales support functions while working in a collaborative environment.
