Job Overview

We are recruiting for an Office cleaner and Refreshment Facilitator to join our Head office team based in Dartford. If you are local and looking for a part time role then this is a perfect opportunity to join a fantastic Demolition company.

Duties

Key Responsibilities

  • Empty all office bins and dispose of waste into the industrial bins located in the garage area.
  • Clean, dust and polish all office furniture and surfaces, including desks, worktops, window sills, blinds, skirting boards, doors, door frames, window fixtures and other office fittings.
  • Vacuum all carpeted office areas during each visit.
  • Mop hard floors as required, particularly in kitchens, toilets and entrance areas.
  • Clean and disinfect all toilet facilities, including toilets, sinks, taps, mirrors and surrounding surfaces, using appropriate cleaning products.
  • Replenish toilet rolls, paper hand towels, soap dispensers and other washroom consumables as required.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen area, including worktops, sinks, taps, cupboard fronts, microwave, fridge exterior and other communal surfaces.
  • Collect used mugs, glasses, plates and other kitchenware from desks and communal areas, load the dishwasher, unload it once the cycle is complete and return items to the appropriate cupboards.
  • Replenish refreshments and kitchen supplies, including tea, coffee, sugar, milk (if applicable), water dispenser cups and other consumables as required.
  • Prepare and serve tea and coffee to employees once each morning.
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, shared office equipment and handrails.
  • Spot clean internal glass, mirrors and glazed doors where required.
  • Remove cobwebs and maintain a clean, tidy appearance throughout the office.
  • Monitor cleaning and refreshment supplies and report when stock requires replenishment.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns to management promptly.
  • Use cleaning chemicals, equipment and materials safely and in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the office at all times.
  • Carry out any other reasonable cleaning or refreshment-related duties as requested by management.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will:

  • Be reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
  • Have good attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Be able to work independently and manage their time effectively.
  • Have a friendly and professional manner.
  • Previous office cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
