Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Development & Office Catering Sales Representative (Temporary) to join our team. This role involves engaging with potential clients, promoting our catering services, and developing new business opportunities within the corporate sector. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of B2B sales, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growth while gaining valuable experience in sales and client relations.
Responsibilities
- Identify and approach prospective clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
- Present and promote our office catering services to potential corporate clients, highlighting unique selling points.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure new business agreements that align with company objectives.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and follow-up actions using IT systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of catering services and client satisfaction.
- Manage scheduling and organise appointments efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to identify new opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development roles, preferably within the catering or hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel as required for client meetings.
- Proficiency in IT tools such as CRM systems, email platforms, and MS Office suite.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Good time management skills with a proactive approach to work deadlines.
