  • Measure and take off quantities from drawings.
  • Compare and evaluate subcontract quotations.
  • Attend tender and pre-construction site visits.
  • Assist in preparing estimates for small works and refurbishment projects.

What Are We Looking For?

To meet the university entry requirements for the degree apprenticeship, applicants will typically need:

  • 5 GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, including Maths and English.
  • 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 qualification such as:
  • T-Level
  • BTEC National Certificate, Diploma or Extended Diploma

  • Other relevant Level 3 BTEC qualifications may also be considered.
  • Mature applicants may be considered with at least five years' relevant industry experience.

Why Join Vaughandale?

  • Earn a salary while studying for a degree.
  • Gain hands-on experience on a wide variety of construction projects.
  • Learn from experienced construction professionals.
  • Receive dedicated mentoring and structured support.
  • Develop skills that provide a clear pathway to becoming a qualified Quantity Surveyor.
