Since 2010, Chandlers Roofing Supplies has specialised in roofing materials across the Southeast. With customer service at the heart of our operations, we combine focused roofing expertise with the backing of Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG).

Were now looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join our team at our Halesowen branch.

The Role

We are looking for a Yard Operative to support the safety and efficient running of our branch.

This is a handson, outdoor role involving heavy roofing materials and direct customer interaction.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Load and unload roofing materials and timber
  • Pick and prepare customer orders
  • Assist customers collecting goods from the yard
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard area
  • Operate forklift trucks (if trained)
  • Follow all health and safety procedures

What Were Looking For

  • Positive, cando attitude
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Yard or builders merchant experience (desirable)
  • Sales or product knowledge is a bonus

Working Hours

  • Week 1: Monday Friday 07:0016:00
  • Week 2: Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00 Every other Saturday 07:00-11:00
