Business Development Executive

UK | Field Based | Full Time | Permanent

Tritoma Construction Products UK Ltd is a fast-growing supplier of innovative construction products to builders' merchants, buying groups and distribution partners throughout the UK.

Our product portfolio includes drylining materials, ladders, site protection, fixings & fastenings, building materials and exclusive European brands, including SEMIN.

As we continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to help grow our customer base and strengthen our presence across the UK.

The Role

This is a new business development role.

We're looking for someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, opening new accounts and building long-term relationships with builders' merchants.

You'll be responsible for introducing Tritoma's product portfolio to new customers, developing opportunities and driving sustainable business growth.

This role is focused on winning new business rather than managing existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with builders' merchants, buying groups and distribution partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers.
  • Promote Tritoma's portfolio of innovative construction products.
  • Generate leads through prospecting, networking and customer visits.
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline using our CRM system.
  • Achieve agreed sales and business development targets.

Essential Requirements

Applications will only be considered from candidates with proven experience selling construction products into builders' merchants.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience selling construction products into builders' merchants.
  • A successful track record of winning new business.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
  • A full UK driving licence.
