Multi-Trade Subcontractors – Private Residential Projects

Location: London, including Central London
Contract type: Subcontract / project-based
Rates: Agreed per project, depending on scope and experience

Masterfix Property Services is seeking established small subcontracting businesses covering two to five trades to support private residential projects and minor works across London.

This opportunity will suit reliable teams looking to build a long-term relationship with an established contractor, with regular work opportunities, clear commercial terms and security of payment.

Our projects typically range in value from £2,000 to £250,000, covering repairs, property improvements and residential refurbishment.

Trades required

We are looking for businesses covering a combination of:

  • Plastering: repairs, skimming, boarding and making good.
  • Decorating: internal and external painting, preparation and finishing.
  • Tiling: wall and floor tiling, repairs and replacement.
  • Plumbing: repairs, alterations, bathroom and kitchen installations.
  • Carpentry: doors, ironmongery, skirting, flooring, kitchens and general carpentry repairs.

Experience and requirements

You must be experienced in private residential work, including working in occupied homes where presentation, cleanliness, care and communication are essential.

You will need:

  • An established business typically covering two to five trades.
  • Proven experience delivering residential works to a high standard.
  • The ability to organise your team and manage agreed works through to completion.
  • A friendly, professional approach with homeowners and residents.
  • Clear, itemised quotations and reliable progress updates.
  • Suitable insurance, tools, transport and relevant trade qualifications.
  • References and photographs of recent projects.
  • Availability to undertake works across London, including Central London.
