Construction Estimator / Senior Contract Estimator

£50,000–£75,000 DOE + Bonuses + Company Car / Car Allowance
Full-time, Permanent | Monday to Friday

Talent Link Recruitment is working with an established and growing construction contractor that is looking to add two experienced professionals to its estimating team:

Construction Estimator – £50,000–£60,000
Senior Contract Estimator – £60,000–£75,000

Construction Estimator

This role would suit an experienced Estimator who is confident working with drawings, specifications, take-offs, tender pricing and subcontractor quotations.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Preparing accurate construction estimates
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender information
• Completing take-offs and pricing
• Obtaining and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Supporting tender submissions through to completion
• Working closely with the wider estimating and commercial team

You’ll need previous construction estimating experience, ideally within commercial, industrial or main contracting environments, together with a good understanding of construction methods, materials and project costs.

Salary: £50,000–£60,000

Senior Contract Estimator

This role is aimed at an experienced senior-level Estimator who can confidently manage tenders independently from initial enquiry through to submission.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Taking ownership of more complex tenders
• Preparing detailed estimates from first principles
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documentation
• Managing supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
• Preparing and managing tender submissions
• Working closely with senior management on key projects

You’ll need strong senior-level construction estimating experience, with a proven ability to manage tenders independently and price projects from first principles.

Salary: £60,000–£75,000
