Your new company
A leading Tier 1 construction contractor is seeking an experienced Lift Supervisor / Slinger Signaller to join a major construction project in Blackpool. This is a long-term freelance opportunity on a large and complex scheme, working as part of an established site team.
Your new role
Starting on 26 October, you'll be responsible for overseeing lifting operations across site and ensuring all activities are carried out safely and in line with site procedures. Duties will include supervising fork lift operations, acting as a banksman and carrying out slinger/signaller responsibilities as required.
Key duties include:
Supervising lifting operations on site
Carrying out Slinger/Signaller duties
Acting as banksman for plant and deliveries
Ensuring compliance with lifting plans, RAMS and site safety procedures
Liaising with site management and plant operators
Maintaining safe working standards across all lifting activities
What you'll need to succeed
Valid CPCS or NPORS Lift Supervisor qualification
Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller qualification
Previous experience on large construction projects
Strong understanding of lifting operations and health & safety requirements
Good communication and coordination skills
