About the Role:
Heritage Joinery Solutions is looking for an experienced joiner to join our specialist site team. Our expertise is working on listed buildings and conservation properties, both in the domestic and commercial space. This role requires someone with a true passion for traditional craftsmanship, a deep respect for historic fabric, and a commitment to a high-end finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restoring, repairing, and installing traditional timber sash and casement windows.
  • Carrying out intricate, sympathetic timber rot and splice repairs on Grade I / Grade II listed buildings and conservation properties.
  • Installing bespoke architectural joinery, doors, and traditional timber mouldings on site.
  • Liaising professionally with clients, conservation officers, and site managers while working inside occupied historic properties.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven, hands-on experience in heritage joinery, timber restoration, or traditional carpentry.
  • Strong preference for candidates with a proven track record working within listed buildings or strict conservation areas.
  • Deep knowledge of traditional woodworking joints, timber species, and historic building methods.
  • Relevant trade qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Architectural Joinery / Carpentry & Joinery).
  • UK Driving Licence (to utilise the company vehicle).
  • Reliable, punctual, and takes immense pride in a clean, tidy, and premium finish.
