Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Time Served Joiner to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will apply your extensive craftsmanship and hands-on experience to deliver high-quality joinery and carpentry work across various projects. Your expertise will be vital in fabricating, assembling, and installing bespoke timber structures, ensuring precision and durability in every task. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, contribute to building projects from start to finish, and showcase your technical prowess.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble timber components using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques to meet project specifications.
  • Install bespoke woodwork, cabinetry, roofing structures, and other joinery elements with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials safely to support construction activities.
  • Carry out carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing, and finishing works in accordance with safety standards and project timelines.
  • Use construction painting skills for surface preparation and finishing touches on woodwork or related structures.
  • Assist with plumbing, masonry, or electrical tasks when required to support integrated building systems.
  • Follow health and safety regulations diligently while working on-site, ensuring a safe environment for all team members.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Time Served Joiner with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and construction painting.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently.
  • Excellent understanding of building regulations, safety standards, and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in carpentry or joinery are highly desirable.
