Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join our team to work on projects in the health and education sector. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and manage all construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Oversee the work of subcontractors and site operatives, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.

Monitor and maintain the project programme, identifying and addressing potential delays and obstacles.

Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to ensure project objectives are met.

Implement and enforce safety systems, promoting a safe work environment for all site personnel.

Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets the required standards.

Manage project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and progress reports.

Maintain accurate records of all construction activities.

Foster a positive team environment, promoting effective communication and collaboration among all site personnel.

Skills and Experience:

NVQ Level 6 (preferred but not essential)

Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment projects (experience in the health and education sector is preferred but not essential)

CSCS card

SMSTS

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.

Excellent leadership and project management skills.

Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
