INTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVE – INSULATION & DRYLINING

We are recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to join our expanding Insulation & Drylining division. We pride ourselves on excellent standards of customer service and look for high levels of proactivity from our Internal Sales teams. The ideal candidate would have a friendly personality, be able to communicate with customers both face-to-face and on the telephone and, work as part of a close-knit team. You’ll be dealing with sales, quotations, and requests for technical support, to help the branch to achieve its sales growth. Other aspects of the job include some purchasing, sales administration and dealing with customer queries.

The Markovitz family of companies has grown both locally and nationwide, and now encompasses eight builders’ and plumbers’ merchants, three civils depots, ten insulation and drylining distribution centres, a luxury kitchen and bathroom studio, a specialist stove & cooker showroom, as well as a 2 AA-rosette awarded restaurant with rooms, The Merchant’s Yard in Tideswell, located in the very building where it all began.

What will you be doing as an Internal Sales Executive?

  • Produce accurate and competitive quotes for customers
  • Understand and meet customer requirements
  • Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Project manage orders communicating with suppliers and customers through to delivery to the customer
  • Project tracking using Company software
  • Work closely with the existing internal and external sales team to gain new opportunities for quotes
  • Liaise with warehouse employees with regards to stock levels

What do you need to be an Internal Sales Executive?

Previous experience within the Insulation & Drylining sector is preferable, whilst experience in the construction industry is essential.

  • Confident in processing orders and responding quickly to customers.
  • You will be comfortable speaking with contractors, providing quotes, pricing and processing orders.
  • High quality verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident hands on and ‘can-do’ approach
