Job Title: Key Account Sales Consultant

Location: Stockton

About the role of Key Accounts Sales Consultant at JT Dove:

We are looking for an ambitious, motivated sales professional to join our contracts team.

The main duties for this role include:

  • Managing a specific set of our key customer accounts on a daily basis
  • Working towards set sales targets
  • Continuously develop ongoing working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers
  • Targeting and growing sales with national and large regional new accounts.
  • Liaising with internal and external sales teams
  • Ensuring a good working relationship with manufacturers sales teams.
  • Contributing to the overall success of the department and branch network.
  • Assisting in the retention of ongoing contract business
  • Ensure dialogue and constant contact is maintained with all major estimating departments of contractors who we wish to trade with, or currently trade with
  • Credit control and administrative duties linked to the management of contract accounts

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant sales/account management experience, ideally gained in the builders merchant sector or similar industry
  • Strong communication skills, in-person and on the phone.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • The ability to work within a fast-moving environment

Hours of work are Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am to 5.00pm.
