About us

Kelburne Construction are a small to medium contractor based in Kilmarnock. We carry out Civil Engineering works for utility companies such as SPEN and Scottish Water, industrial clients, local authorities, hospitals and the like, across central and southern Scotland.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Working Supervisors and squads to join our team on our Civil Engineering sites for SPEN throughout central and southern Scotland and Scottish Water. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of workers on construction sites.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the work of construction workers.

- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.

- Inspect work progress and quality to ensure standards are met.

- Provide guidance and training to team members.

- Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to communicate progress and issues.

Skills:

- SSSTS/ SMSTS, CSCS, CPCS/ NPORS, SPEN authorisations, NRSWA, confined spaces, first aid all beneficial.

- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Excellent organisational abilities.

- Ability to manage time effectively.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

- Experience on Scottish Power and/or Scottish Water sites beneficial, but not essential..

Pay: £13.00-£24.00 per hour
