Job Description:

Hey Alfie is an AI-powered home management platform transforming how people manage and improve their homes.

We’re hiring an experienced Multi-Trader based to join our growing in-house trades team in London. You will carry out a wide range of repair, maintenance and home improvement jobs across London, ranging from small repairs to large-scale renovations. You will act as an ambassador for Hey Alfie in customers’ homes, delivering high quality work with a friendly and professional approach.

This is a stable, salaried role with guaranteed hours, performance bonuses, paid holiday, company vehicle, all tools provided and no need to chase jobs or payment — we handle the customer management so you can focus on delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of home repair and maintenance jobs, including plumbing, tiling, carpentry, electrical, decorating, renovations and general household fixes.
• Represent Hey Alfie professionally in customers’ homes, ensuring punctuality, quality workmanship, and excellent communication.
• Spot opportunities for additional services and support customers in booking follow-up jobs through the platform.
• Provide feedback to the operations team on common household issues, customer needs, and how we can improve our service.

Requirements

• Proven experience (4+ years) as a multi-trader in residential properties
• Home base is in London
• Strong skills across multiple trades, ideally including: tiling, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and decorating
• Confident in the safe use of a wide range of hand tools and power tools.
• Customer-focused with a friendly, calm and professional manner.
• Very strong spoken and written English skills
• Comfortable with technology and ability to us phone apps to provide updates and feedback on jobs on a daily basis
• Reliable and punctual with strong organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence

What We Offer:

• £36k-£40k base salary with additional £10k bonus potential. Bonus is tied to customer satisfaction and your performance of each individual job that you complete. We currently have an impressive 92% bonus payout on all jobs completed.
• Temp-to-perm contract. You will initially start on a 4 month temporary contract, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role once you’ve shown strong performance, reliability, and alignment with Hey Alfie’s values.
