Summary

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Branch Manager to lead our team at Kellaway Building Supplies. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing branch operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your leadership will be key in fostering a positive work environment that aligns with our core values.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the branch to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Drive sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies and managing team performance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff to enhance their skills and career growth.
  • Manage stock levels and ensure stock availability to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the branch.
  • Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration and high performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management or retail management roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in supervising staff in a retail or trade environment is preferred.
