Office-Based Sales & Relationship Builder £30-35k + Bonus DOE

Location: Office-Based
Hours: Monday – Friday (No Weekends / No Evenings)

About the Role

Southern Doors is a growing family-run home-improvement business based near Tonbridge, specialising in installation of premium garage doors, front entrance doors and awnings across the South-East.

We don’t do rigid corporate scripts or aggressive, high-pressure sales. Instead, we win by building genuine relationships and providing expert, honest advice.

We are seeking a highly gregarious, warm, and tech-curious Sales & Relationship Builder for a purely office-based role. Managing inbound, warm enquiries and following up on existing quotes, your primary mission is to welcome clients, uncover their true needs & concerns, and guide them seamlessly to a closed sale.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maximising Warm Inbound Leads: Responding to inbound enquiries via phone, email, and website with genuine enthusiasm, making potential clients feel instantly valued.
  • Simplifying the Technical: Mastering our entry-level technical specifications (such as clearances, headroom, and automation features) to confidently advise customers and answer their practical anxieties.
  • Spotting Opportunities: Active listening to pick up on subtle conversational openings, allowing you to organically suggest premium upgrades like high-insulation options or smartphone automation.
  • Proactive Quote Nurturing: Following up on outstanding quotes with a warm, consultative approach—addressing lingering questions and elegantly nudging homeowners over the finish line.

  • Technically Curious: You don't need to be an engineer, but you must have the ability and desire to grasp entry-level technical products, dimensions, and mechanics.
