We are an independent house builder who construct unique, high-quality homes that our customers cherish.

Salary £18k- £25k - OTE £35k+

Harrington Homes are recruiting for a full time sales advisor with previous experience in new homes or estate agency to join and strengthen our growing team. As an independent developer operating across Devon and Cornwall our goal is to construct high quality neighbourhoods while providing customer satisfaction that is second to none.

As an integral member of the Harrington Homes team you will often be the first point of contact for our home buyers, selling not only new homes but managing our customers experience throughout their whole home-buying journey. At the forefront of customer and client relations you will also be liaising with solicitors, estate agents, construction and customer care teams as well as financial advisors to ensure a seamless homes purchase.

The Role

As a Sales Advisor at Harrington Homes you will be responsible for ensuring sales targets are met through creating and closing the sale of homes ensuring at all times to confirm to the standards set.

Working from our offices across Devon & Cornwall, Thursday to Monday 9:45 to 5:15.

Manage the sales activities for allocated developments, including lead management, customer appointments, reservations, sales progression, legal completions and the sale of finishing touches, to ensure achievement of sales targets.

Initiating approaches to prospects, recording and following up all visitors, regularly updating and progressing all prospects via the CRM system, ensuring the customer journey is logged

Regular contact with the recommended Financial Advisor to ensure knowledge of the mortgage market and available products is up to date.

Build up good working relationships with other internal departments to achieve set targets, as well as, having a continuous liaison with solicitors, estate agents, banks and building society managers and valuers.

Communicate with customers to ensure the pre-move and after-sales is adhered to, enhancing the customer experience

Ensuring all timescales are adhered to by pro-active contract and completion progressing to meet or exceed set targets.

Maintaining an up to date knowledge of the product and its construction, relevant local information, competitors, our unique selling points, the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and the Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations 2008, and use such knowledge in a professional and structured manner.

Ensuring Harrington Homes Health & Safety Policy, Personal Safety Policy and Lone Working Policy is adhered to and all visitors are made aware of the requirements to wear PPE when entering the construction areas of the development. Complying with and uphold all company policies and procedures.


Undertaking any additional tasks as may reasonably be required from time to time

Promote the Harrington brand and image

Maintain the customer hub and show homes on the development in line with brand and company standards

Attend sales meetings and training sessions, when required

What we are looking for…

A full, valid driving license and access to your own vehicle

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Project and time management skills

Positivity and target driven with good self-motivation

Proficient in IT

Experience within a similar role in new homes sales/estate agency or delivering sales/customer service in a service environment is advantageous
