About the Role

Richard Barnes Ltd Building Contractors is looking for an experienced Carpentry-Based Working Foreman to work across residential construction projects throughout Wiltshire.

This is a hands-on role combining carpentry with day-to-day site supervision, ensuring projects run safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role

  • Carry out hands-on carpentry work
  • Coordinate trades and subcontractors
  • Oversee daily site activities and workmanship
  • Read and work from construction drawings
  • Maintain quality and site safety standards
  • Resolve day-to-day site issues
  • Help keep projects on programme

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Working Foreman, Site Supervisor or similar
  • Strong carpentry and residential construction experience
  • Confident managing teams and subcontractors
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Reliable, proactive and comfortable working on the tools
  • Valid UK driving licence and own transport
  • Registered self-employed status

Pay: From £210.00 per day
