Full job description

As the National Housing Construction Manager you will lead the management and commercial strategy of national house builder accounts and drive EGGER UK's business forward. Enjoy competitive benefits, extensive training, and a pivotal role in a leading manufacturing employer.

What you'll be doing...

  • Manage all aspects of account management with the EGGER (UK) customers; National House builders and their routes to market through the specialist timber engineering companies and selected National Distributors and Merchants.
  • Develop and maintain house builder specifications for the EGGER Advanced Flooring System.
  • Manage delivery of CM2, sales and volume development to budget objectives.
  • Liaise with EGGER (UK) and Customer’s accounts departments to ensure correct and timely payment of invoices.
  • Liaise with customer’s Technical Departments in relation to QC issues and their Purchasing departments to ensure EGGER products are at the forefront of the Customer process.
  • Coordination with customer’s planning and logistics functions to ensure, where possible, customer requirements relating to delivery and supply are met.
  • Monitor supply agreements, where in place, to ensure EGGER’s compliance with agreed commitments and levels of service, in addition to customer’s adherence to supply agreement conditions.
  • Hold sales budgeting responsibility for nominated UK accounts and analysis customer performance against budget / forecasts.
  • Promote EGGER (UK)’s export business in coordination with other EGGER National / Regional Sales offices, liaising with EGGER (UK) Export Customers.
  • Conduct site visits to customers (including export) and other EGGER plants as required.
  • Demonstrate professional competence and development by keeping skills up to date and in providing evidence of continuing professional development.

What we need from you...

  • Preferably a diploma/degree level education in a Business related discipline or significant experience in a related role.
  • Driving Licence essential as a significant amount of domestic travel is expected.

You'll need a strong knowledge of:

  • EGGER/manufacturing production capabilities and specifications.
  • Production planning capabilities and procedures.
  • Customer Services administration and procedures.
  • Financial budgeting and costing processes.
  • Sales budgeting and forecasting.

With a reasonable appreciation of:

  • Nominated key account or supplier expectations.
  • EGGER UK’s expectation of key account performance criteria.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Work experience within EGGER and suitable areas.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP, BIW, EPS.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to converse and deal with a wide representation of people.
